fostering a happy and well-behaved companion

EMMA’S STORY

In 2016 I made the easy decision to leave office work and go back into education. I completed an adult course at Writtle College Essex and achieved my Level 2 Canine Care, Training and Management Certification.

My oldest dog Raven came during this time and I started a dog walking and bespoke in home sitting service, becoming the first walker in my area to create training pack walks, documenting the process on my Instagram account.

I quickly realised my passion was with both teaching obedience and helping owners see things from their dog’s perspective so I flew myself and my dog Ruse to America (twice) and spent 6 months learning from some of the best trainers in the pet and sport world!

MY APPROACH

My approach to training is far from cookie cutter and I take pride in what I create with each dog in my care. And then teaching an owner how to do the same.

My passion for teaching now spans to other walkers and trainers and my in person Mentorship Program kicked off in 2021.

I compete in the protection sport PSA with my oldest dog Ruse and he came first in Protection in the July 2023 Trial when he obtained the first leg of his Level 1.

My attention to detail is something I’m proud of, stemming from an obsession to understand more about our companions every day.
